Nissan x Pole to Pole

Intrepid electronic vehicle explorers Chris and Julie Ramsay drove a Nissan Ariya from the magnetic north pole to the south pole in 2023. Fifty One Films joined the expedition in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile to capture stunning footage of the team as they made their way along the high planes of the Andes. Shot on Arri LF and with aerials from the DJi Inspire 3, the footage captures the immense beauty of this majestic landscape as Chris and Julie undertake their epic journey.

Additionally, we provided post-production support for the whole project, creating multiple social, exhibition and internal edits for Nissan partners around the globe.

Wunderman / VML

Showcasing our 3D animation skills, this promo was made for ecommerce agency Wunderman Thompson Commerce to promote their social commerce offering. Without a physical product to promote, we had to rely on abstract visuals to communicate the benefits of a complex offering.

The result is a colourful, vibrant and fun film, which we absolutely love!

Unlocked

Unlocked help recruit high-calibre graduates into the prison service to effect change, and they needed a campaign film to promote their brand in the highly-competitive graduate market. Working with Employer Brand agency SMRS, Fifty One Films worked with director Jason Glenister and DoP David Capon to create this witty, impactful film which imagines the reactions of friends and family as you tell them you’re becoming a prison officer.

The film went on to win multiple awards.

Shelter

Housing charity Shelter wanted a film to launch their powerful new brand to both an internal and external audience, and asked Fifty One Films to help. Directed by Jason Glenister, this film told the story of the new brand using mostly still imagery and typography in a collage style. The result is a powerful, strident film which we’re super proud of – and which the client was delighted with.
